This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at my school are hardworking and kind. Every year, it is exciting and motivating to get a new bunch of learners.
For students, moving from 1st to 2nd grade can be a bit scary.
The materials in this project will help my incoming second grade class soar into the new school year. The birthday bracelets and pencils will be used to celebrate each student on their special day. My hope is for the spinning wheel to encourage positive behavior and learning. It will also be a fun way to help us build our classroom community. The polka dot bucket caddy, desk organizer and staple removers will help keep our classroom environment in order.
