As a literacy coach, I am able to work with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Our 3rd graders are energetic students who love learning and being able to read a variety of materials. Please help us by providing 30 copies of the Grade 1 Scholastic News for our 3rd graders to read during intervention time. This will give these students engaging materials and a variety of passages to practice their fluency skills. It will also provide them an opportunity to build their love of reading while building both vocabulary and comprehension skills. The most important gift that you can give students is the gift of reading. Please consider helping our students become stronger readers.
