My Project
What we love most about our students is their determination to grow, not only academically but as responsible individuals. They are a unique group of learners who bring curiosity, energy, and resilience into the classroom every day. No matter the challenges they face, they strive to live by our school’s SOAR values: Showing respect, Observing safety, Accepting responsibility, and Reaching their goals. To encourage and reward their positive behavior, we want to establish a SOAR Store where students can use SOAR bucks, earned through good behavior, to purchase rewards.
Our goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to uphold our SOAR values.
By rewarding their efforts with meaningful incentives, we aim to foster a positive learning environment that encourages responsibility, respect, and self-motivation. We hope to inspire continued growth and encourage them to take ownership of their behavior and success.
The resources we're requesting — LEGO building toys, fidget toys, snacks, and hygiene items — will play an essential role in reinforcing these values and supporting their learning. LEGO sets and fidget toys foster creativity and problem-solving while providing an outlet for stress relief. Snacks and hygiene items serve as incentives that promote responsibility and healthy habits, giving students goals to work toward.
What makes my students special is their perseverance. Many come from diverse backgrounds and experience economic hardships, yet they show up with determination and enthusiasm, ready to reach their goals. This project will provide the motivation and rewards they deserve as they continue to soar.
