So Much Sight Word Fun!

Help me give my students items that they need to learn their sight words. The stamps will allow the students to first find the letters and then stamp their sight words, learning them in a fun way.

My Students

My Title 1 School approximately serves 500 eager to learn scholars. The students in our school come from low-income families and they receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Although there may be challenges my students face, they are ambitious, thoughtful and very caring. In my classroom you will find scholars from diverse backgrounds that speak different languages who have come together to create our class family which helps us reach our learning goals. They have also learned that they can learn a lot from one another. As their teacher, I strive daily to give them various learning opportunities whether it be one on one, small groups, partner/group collaboration, hands on activities or whole group instruction. My students have various learning styles and I have made it a goal of mine to attend to each of them. It is important for me that they understand having differences is okay and for them to be able to embrace it.

My Project

In order to become great readers my students will need to be able to recognize and read sight words. With the supplies I am requesting my students will be able to learn their sight words in different ways that will be fun for them.

Many students are hands on and these supplies allow them to learn their sight words in a non-traditional way.

Please consider helping my students get these items so they can be on their way to becoming Super Star Readers!!!

Thank you for taking a look at my project. I look forward to my friends getting these items and quickly learning all the words they need in order to become successful readers.
