This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of energy! They love learning new concepts that get them active and engaged in their learning. They come to school each day ready to learn and grateful to be at school. Each student is invested in their learning and determined to meet individual goals in all academic areas.

Our school is a Title I school in a low income area in Phoenix.

Our families struggle to find employment and other opportunities. Each student in my classroom loves being at school and learning, despite their unique and diverse home environments.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will make our classroom feel like a new home! Our school and classroom is over 50 years old! With that comes, outdated storage shelves, broken storage supplies, and an old musty smells that we can't seem kick!

The supplies to clean and organize our 50+ year old classroom will bring light and joy into the room!

If students have a clean and healthy working environment, they will most likely succeed! The shiny white organization storage shelves will replace our old grungy wooden bookcases. Students will use the storage space to store their daily supplies for class .
