This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we attempt to return to normal after the worst pandemic in a century, I need your help keeping my students healthy by having access to cleaning wipes, air purifiers, and ergonomic materials for the teacher.
Students are missing a lot of school because of winter respiratory viruses.
I use air purifiers and UV wands to disinfect the class, thus helping reduce absences. It is very difficult for students to catch up, especially when taking advanced courses. A clean classroom is a must in a post-pandemic world.
As a hands-on teacher, I stand almost the whole day, and would deeply appreciate help in acquiring a standing mat. Ergonomic keyboards and seat cushions will help when I am grading essays.
