This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that all of my students absolutely love to read! They love to read so much, that I have trouble keeping books on our library shelves. These kids just get so excited when they see new books! Many of my students do not have many books in their homes.

I am requesting books that the students requested, plushie book characters, and a basket to store our book characters in.

I would like to place these new books and plushies in the basket so my students could pick a plushie and read and snuggle it during library time. This will promote reading and make our library a place that encourages our students to love to read.
