My Project
My class is an amazing bunch! Our school is a Title I school that serves students who come from a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and a low-income school district. My students are faced with several daily challenges in and out of the classroom. The students in my classroom are full of energy and very enthusiastic about learning. Pre-K is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals.
In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.
My goal to help students be successful, emotionally and academically.
Students will use the carpet every day for multiple classroom activities. We meet on the carpet first thing every morning for our morning meeting.
Students will work independently and collaboratively on the carpet to practice literacy and math skills, as well as interact appropriately with peers.
Students come to the carpet for whole group instruction, class meetings, and more. Having a carpet in our Pre-k classroom is an everyday essential. Beyond that, having a functional carpet is key. Currently, our carpet has some stains and ragged ends. Our new carpet would allow students to use the carpet safely. Your donation will help give them an area to interact with each other, become great thinkers, and make learning fun.
