Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Rugs help create distinct areas within the classroom, such as a reading corner, play area, or circle time space. This organization helps children understand the purpose of each space and what is expected of them there.
Rugs are often used for circle time, where children gather to participate in group activities, storytelling, or discussions.
The rug serves as a visual cue for children to come together and fosters a sense of community.
Rugs add warmth, color, and texture to the classroom, creating a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment. A visually stimulating space can enhance children’s mood and engagement.
