My students need 1 A Place for Everyone Grouptime Carpet for 18.
FULLY FUNDED! Dr. Samaco's classroom raised $479
This project is fully funded
I teach a Pre-K class of 20 students in a high poverty area in an Inner City. They are very special to me and need lots of attention and have very little material things. The student are very poor and often come to school in an unkempt condition with thin clothing.
The rug in our classroom has seen better days. Over the last 5 years, it has been the victim of numerous spills of all types of body fluids and beverages. The carpet is tattered and worn thin in many places. We have been infested with carpet fleas and lice. My children need a warm, comfortable place to sit and hear stories, do group work and take their naps.
If you donate this rug to our class the children will be able to seat on a warm carpet and not the cold floor. They will be on shapes that they need to practice as well as the basic colors. They can have nap time on a comfortable carpet instead of a thin blanket on the floor.
Please help these children have a bright spot in their lives by donating to this grant and helping us get a new carpet for our room. You can give them a snug place to nap, read and learn. Reach out to the Pre-K students in our school and show them that they are truly as special as I feel that they are.
