My Students
My students are amazing! They are eager to learn and love coming to school each day. They are very diverse and have such different backgrounds. However, my students have one important thing in common...their desire to explore a world of knowledge.
My goal is to provide this wonderful group of children with opportunities to blossom and grow.
I want to do everything that I can to make their learning environment comfortable and fun! I want to equip them with everything they will need to be successful.
My Project
My students are kinesthetic learners. They love to move around the room and do not like being confined to their desks. I often allow students to sit on the floor while playing games with a partner. My classroom is not carpeted. This can be very uncomfortable for the students. Also, the students love story time! They enjoying gathering at my rocking chair for shared reading. A large area rug would make story time more enjoyable. I would also be able to utilize the rug for whole group instruction. My students could have a relaxing place to sit while I teach lessons on my Promethean Board.
