My Project

I am a full-day pre-k teacher and am so lucky to have my students with me all day. During the school day, my students are provided with breakfast and lunch. Students are not always hungry during these times and may feel full quickly.

With our day being longer, they tend to get hungry in the afternoon and need an extra snack to help refuel their bodies and help them refocus for the afternoon.

I have noticed that my students are able to stay engaged in their work when they have had an afternoon snack. My parents do so much already, I want to take the pressure off of parents and be able to provide snacks to their children on a regular basis.
