Snapshots of Self: Capturing Creativity in Every Student

Help me give my students the next step in their journey through visual arts and photography, using this film and cardstock to showcase their work and highlight their creative writing.

My Project

I am eager to continue inspiring my students’ love for the arts through photography and creative writing. Last year, I was able to fund and curate a hallway display showcasing the photography and creative writing of all 315 students in our school, creating a powerful space for student voices and creativity to shine.

With this grant, I will be able to engage every student in grades K–5 in hands-on photography projects that build creativity, observation skills, and self-expression.

Students will explore our new school theme of individualism through their own lens—literally—capturing images that reflect their unique perspectives. The purchased film and cardstock paper will ensure that every student’s work is professionally developed, printed, and displayed for the school community to enjoy throughout the year.

Your support will allow me to continue sharing my passion for photography while providing all students the opportunity to experience an additional artistic medium—one that blends technical skills with creative storytelling. By showcasing each child’s work, we will foster confidence, celebrate individuality, and strengthen our school’s culture of creativity.

Mrs. Fremouw will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by December 9.
