My Students need a Wimshurst Machine and a Van De Graff Generator to conduct high voltage and safe static electricity experiments.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Traversi's classroom raised $564
This project is fully funded
I'm looking for a series of high voltage lessons in electricity that will inspire my students and empower them to want to learn more. I teach 8th grade physical science to a group of very hard working young boys and girls.
Science equipment can be the most costly of all school supplies. I strive to purchase equipment that will last for years and be a true asset to the school and the students learning.
The study of static electricity and electricity flow is fascinating to children and making sure the experiments are safe and worry free is of the utmost importance. The Wimshurst and Van De Graff generators are two famous static charge generators that are used at all levels from middle school to college to create and collect static charges.
Your help can allow my students to experience safe, exciting and unique experiments in the intimate environment of my classroom.
