My Project

At the beginning of this year and the middle of the year, donors came together to fund a project just like this one. My students have loved these snacks. They eagerly grab a snack each afternoon and a few take a snack home at the end of the day. It has been such a blessing to be able to provide this for them.

Having a full tummy will in fact allow my students to work to their full potentials!

Every day my students come in from recess. They have worked hard all day. Some grab a snack from their backpacks, but many do not. Our snack bin is getting closer to empty. Snacks can be expensive and on the list of demands, they end up on the bottom of the list for families.

I know that when I have had enough to eat, I work my best. I don't like the fact that some of my students can bring snacks every day and some can't. I also want to give my students the opportunity to take a snack home to have after school too, so this project would do that too
