This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class is in need of snacks; my students are always hungry by 1:00 pm. We have lunch at 10:25 am which is really early since we are in school until 3:40 pm. Most of my kids do not eat enough at lunch because they don't like the lunch food so they are always hungry. I allow the students to have a snack in the afternoon but most of the families that I have are low-income so they don't have the money to buy snacks. I have bought snacks but it gets very expensive. The snacks will allow my students to be focused in class and learn instead of being hungry and tired.
