My Project
Hungry kids are less equipped to reach their full potential as they try to engage in learning. Studies have shown that children from homes that lack consistent access to food are more likely to experience developmental impairments and behavior issues.
What I have found is that my students really need nutritional support in the classroom to keep them focused on learning.
The lunch the school serves on many days is not appetizing to my students and they go hungry. I want to have healthy snacks and bottled water available for the students at our school so that they never have to go without having something to eat.
