This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to provide snacks for the students who forget their snacks that day. Some students even worry about where their next meal will come from. It's a long, hard day without a snack.
Many times, students come to school without eating and have a hard time focusing on their learning.
Providing a snack during the school day will curb my middle schoolers' hunger and help improve their focus and concentration. The assorted snacks will help settle students' tummies from the pain of hunger.
My students are like my family. They are so near and dear to my heart. My students are hard workers and love to learn! I teach at a Title I school with low-income families. They enjoy hands-on activities, as well as exploring new ideas. I love them, and I want them to help maximize their growth in the classroom to help make them successful adults.
With your help, this project can come to life for our Thunderbirds! Please help our students to be more concentrated on their work, rather than on their hungry tummies.
