Snacks, Then Attack the FSA (Standardized Testing)

Help me give my students snacks and small treat rewards during the long tedious sessions of standardized testing so that they can concentrate on their testing, and not their stomachs.

My Students

I am blessed to teach a class full of amazing, eager to learn, and passionate kids. We are a Title I school in a low socio-ecomomic area. A vast majority of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. In spite of their circumstances, students strive for success each and every day.

My Project

Standardized testing days are long and strenuous. A full belly with no worries will surely ensure that my students test well. It is difficult to concentrate on academics when your stomach is grumbling and you're hungry.

As a test administrator, I want my students not to focus on being hungry or missing lunch by providing them a snack during testing.

These snack items will also help diminish significant triggers that can interfere with the learning environment. Not only will the snacks diminish triggers, but it will help students get through tedious concepts. If this project is fully funded it will provide my students with a healthy snack for testing days.
