Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the new school year quickly approaching, there are a few essentials I hope to provide for my students — especially snacks and engaging hands-on activities. Many of my students ride the bus for an hour or more each day, often without access to food or drink during that time. Because of this, offering an end-of-day snack has become a meaningful way to support their well-being and help them stay focused and comfortable.

In addition to snacks, interactive activities like making slime are incredibly effective for building rapport with new students.

These fun, sensory experiences not only help ease the transition into the classroom but also encourage students to connect and collaborate with their peers from the start.

Finally, a TPT gift card will help me scaffold lessons for each individual learner.
