This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have high needs and often need to have their basic needs met before they can access grade-level content. Many students come to school and need support and having their basic and essential needs met helps students thrive in the classroom setting.
Students need access to healthy snacks so they can grab a snack and then go to class and perform to the best of their abilities. I try to provide students access to healthy snacks but it can be costly so any and all help is greatly appreciated!
