My Project
My goal this year is to create a classroom space that is warm and inviting. When kids feel comfortable they are more likely to feel safe, cared about and content. The bubble light, rug and new supplies with help them feel like they are in serene environment.
Snacks during the day and birthday surprises are something kids look forward to.
So many times during the year I have students who don't receive anything for their birthdays. I want to be able to offer them some small gift to let them know they are cared about. I also work with students who don't have a balanced diet and more often than not, they come to school hungry. Snack time is something I implemented last year and it was just an all-around happy break during the day. I have included waterbottles and fun stickers for them to decorate with. Students will have their needs met but can also customize their waterbottles as they want. This will make students feel like they are valued and they will never have to worry about going thirsty.
Classroom supplies like Clorox wipes and paper tend to go fast throughout the year and I want to make sure my students have the supplies they need to make it through the year. I know this project will help my students and they will be so grateful.
