This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom uses Class Equity, a classroom management program that combines a classroom economy and financial literacy skills into one easy to use system. The web-based platform enables students to apply for classroom jobs, as well as earn and spend classroom dollars. Students learn valuable skills like money management, needs vs. wants, delayed gratification, budgeting, saving, and making responsible spending choices.
It encourages students to utilize their classroom allowance to purchase snacks and reward prizes while reinforcing math and critical thinking skills.
Your donations will help to provide a variety of snack and prize options for the students to spend their earned points that act as currency in our classroom store. This classroom economy system has empowered students to stay motivated, focused, and excited about their education, as they become financially responsible individuals.
