Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students ask throughout the day if I have snacks for them or snacks they can take home so I have compiled a list of some snacks they like. Many students also don't like school lunch and don't bring lunch from home. I have tried to bring in fruit and other snacks to ensure these students are eating something to sustain themselves throughout the day. The items on the list would help ensure that I can provide snacks to these students. Additionally, with this supply I can have students take snacks home. Other items on the list, such as the lifesavers are used for sensory purposes and focusing purposes during class. I also included cough drops, tissues, and lysol wipes as many students in the school building are starting to get sick and are constantly coughing. These essentials will help my students throughout the day during their learning in my class and other classes.
