Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach reading and language arts to a group of forty-five, sweet, energetic, and diverse learners, including students with special needs. My students have various disabilities and Speech and language delays. All my students belong to low-income families. They receive free breakfast and lunch.

Despite obstacles, they are always eager to learn and do their best by coming to school with happy faces.

Having an inclusion classroom has been a wonderful experience for all my students, who at this early age, are learning to appreciate and celebrate how different we all are and are always helping each other.

These snacks are going to provide my students with additional energy to continue the learning process until the end of the school day. Our lunch is really early in the morning at 10:38 A.M. But, by two o'clock my students are quite hungry and running out of energy!

My students come from low income households in which their parents struggle to make ends meet.

So it is difficult for them to provide afternoon snacks for their kids.

Please help me to provide my students with these afternoon snacks. This way they may increase their energy level and continue learning.
