Help me give my students a snack in the afternoon to help them stay focused on learning instead of their empty tummies. Animal Crackers, Goldfish, Ritz-Bits and Graham Snacks are perfect for my kindergartners.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My bilingual kindergarten students are creative, inquisitive, and love to learn! My students live in an urban, low income area. Their families are doing everything they can to provide their children with the necessities of life during these difficult times, to which we can all relate. We have transitioned from remote learning to in-person learning, and my students come to school ready to learn. It is a long day for my five and six year old students, and a snack will help keep them alert until the end of the day.
My Project
My kindergarten students are in school for seven hours every day, and they complain about being hungry in the afternoon. My students need a snack break so they can keep their minds on learning instead of being hungry.
Eating a snack will help my students boost their energy so their brains can keep on learning!
Please help my little kindergartners make it through the day without being hungry. Having something in their tummy will help my students pay attention. Please consider donating to this project. On behalf of my students, I thank you for your generosity.
