My Students

My students need the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. With the virus, we are learning to deal with a new world. Many of my children are so young they can't remember a time before COVID. Every day I try to give them a little bit of normal while safely enriching their education.

I need your help. I teach in a school where many of my students qualify for free lunch. My families are hardworking, and we could all use some help to make sure each child has what they need to learn. My children are little, just 3, 4, and 5 years old. They are inquisitive and energetic. They don't learn on the computer. They learn with their hands. Young children learn immensely from reading books and having them read to them. Can you help me give my preschool children what they need to learn?

My Project

Every day, many of my students qualify for free and reduced price lunch and breakfast. Some of them remain at school for up to 5 1/2 hours after lunch. I am requesting some snacks so they I can provide them some nourishment to carry over until they get home for their evening meal.

For this project I am asking for several pre-wrapped and single serving snacks that I can pass out to my students during the after school portion of their day. I tried to pick snacks that children enjoy but that are not too full of sugar. I choose cheese crackers, trail mix, pretzels, and various other snack items. Please help me feed my growing kids.
