Help me give my students a relaxed atmosphere that will foster a sense of connection, provide a positive distraction, and promote open communication while utilizing food as a therapeutic tool to explore underlying issues.

My Project

The specific snacks I’m requesting will make a tangible difference in my students’ learning and engagement during therapy. These snacks create a welcoming, comforting environment that encourages them to feel safe, open up, and actively participate in each session. By bridging the gap between daily needs and emotional support, snacks help establish trust and rapport, essential for meaningful progress.

My primary goal for this project is to boost student engagement, using snacks as a tool to make therapy sessions more accessible and inviting.

With this support, I can continue fostering an environment where students feel motivated to connect, communicate, and invest in their healing journey.

What makes my students truly special is their courage—they have sought out mental health services on their own, actively pursuing freedom and healing from their traumas. These are resilient young individuals, and providing them with snacks is a small but impactful way to show that their journey matters and that they are supported every step of the way.
