My Project

Donating to provide snacks for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students at my school during the STAAR test is an incredible way to directly impact a child's future. As a Title 1 school, many of our students come from low-income households where food is often scarce. For these children, the stress of testing is made even harder when they haven’t had enough to eat.

By providing a simple snack, you’re not just offering food — you’re giving these young learners a moment of comfort and care; You’re ensuring they don’t face the challenge of the test on an empty stomach, and you're showing them that their community believes in them.

Your generosity will help these students feel valued, supported, and empowered to give their best, no matter what challenges they face at home. This small act of kindness can make a world of difference in how they approach the test, and in how they see the world around them.
