My Project

All of our students here at Salem Heights have access to our Rascal Den.

This is a place where much needed sensory breaks and a snack station are provided.

It helps reduce fatigue and negative behavior in the classroom.

We have great data to support the negative feelings coming into the Den turn into positive feelings in just 10 min during their visit. Snacks are a huge part of this! Sometimes it just comes down to basic needs.

Think about a time when you "just needed a snack" our students are the same. We are proud to have this option available to everyone at any time, and appreciate the support immensely!
