This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout my years at my school, more and more students are coming to me because they need something to eat. We have programs at our school that help get some students snacks and food, but this still doesn't solve the daily problem of students needing food.

An empty stomach shouldn't stop a kid from being able to learn.

I want to be able to be a room where kids can get something small to eat to get them through the day or even be ready to give it their all at practice. I just can't keep doing that out of my own pocket.
