Snacks for Success! Supporting Title One Students in Need

Help me give my students snacks for small group sessions and my supplemental food program.

My Project

As a School Social Worker, the physiological needs of all students is my top priority. Each week, I provide 25 students with a bag of supplemental food items for the weekend and manage a school-based food pantry for students in need. I also meet with students one-on-one and in small groups to support their social-emotional needs and implement attendance interventions, always offering them something to eat when they walk through my door.

It is my job to ensure all students in need have access to supplemental food items.

To continue this mission, I need additional snacks and food items to fill the shelves of my pantry. The food items I am requesting through this project will directly support my initiatives to support the physiological needs of any student that walks through my door.
