This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Food is a powerful tool. Humans need food to survive and thrive. Not only do we need food, we enjoy it. We would use these snacks as incentives for student focus and attendance.
By donating to our project you will not only help to improve and increase student attendance and focus, you will also help increase their academic achievement.
The majority of our students come from socio-economically disadvantaged homes. The free school breakfast and lunch is sometimes the only meals they get during the week. I want to be able to provide my students with the energy they need to be able to focus on school.
