My Project

An important part of our classroom community is snack time. Every day, our class shares a snack that my students' families or I donate to the class.

I have seen many benefits to our community as a result of class snacks.

Students focus better with a little extra food throughout the day, they learn the responsibilities of preparing and managing snack time and important practical math skills in the process, and it is a time for them to develop stronger connections with each other.

My students enjoy snack time every day and really look forward to it. With this project, I am requesting some extra snacks to help get us through the rest of the year for the days we run out of snacks, so that we can continue our daily snack routine.
