Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school offers free lunch for all students, and for some students school lunch is the only food they get in a day. At the beginning of the school year I bought snacks with gift-cards I was given. My students loved them and were eager for snack time. Unfortunately, our snack bin is empty.
These snacks will help fuel my students' brain and make it easier for them to focus on their learning.
Because we are kindergarten, we have lunch first at 10 in the morning. By the end of the day students are distracted and hungry. These snacks will help students stay focused and engaged during class.
I like giving my students a variety of snacks because many of my students haven't had the opportunity to try different snacks. This will be a fun opportunity for everyone.
