My Project
My third-grade students have the earliest lunchtime in our building. It's difficult for many of them to stay focused through the afternoon due to hunger. While some students remember to bring a daily snack, others, especially my special needs students, frequently forget.
My snack drawer was a huge success. Some of my students rely on it to get them through the school day. The students picked out chips, crackers, and cookies as their favorites. I would like to offer simple snacks for the students who forget one. It helps them regulate their emotions while learning. These snacks will be used during iready and ilearn state testing to help the students maintain their focus.
