My Project
Our is a title one school located in Washington, D.C. We have over two hundred and fifty students, with a large percentage of our school being considered low income and high need community members. In order to increase our students' awareness to their behavior in school, we have invested in a PBIS reward system called PBIS Rewards to help manage our students everyday behavior with a consistent weekly awards.
These snacks serve as incentives for our students who earn rewards due to good behavioral.
In the PreK classes, this does include aspects like behavior as well, as students have a large voice is encouraging parents to come to school. We use these rewards to help connect student's behavior to positive incentives.
