Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an attendance counselor, I am working with interns to support my students at school. We want to run a skills based group for students who have a hard time coming to school or staying in class. We would love to be able to provide snacks for their hard work within our group.
Students will be learning life skills such as organization, time management, goal setting, study habits, and etc.
We hope to teach students how to become successful students using their newly found skills. These skills will transfer over into other parts of their lives.
