My Project
My students eat free breakfast and lunch at school, but they would greatly benefit from a healthy afternoon snack. Depending on parents' schedules, some of my students are home alone in the afternoon with nothing to eat until someone comes home.
Some students don't get home for dinner until late in the evening, My first project really enabled my students to have snacks through the week and also to have a snack bag to take home on Fridays.
With careful planning, we will be able to make these snacks go far. Your donation toward our project will be greatly appreciated, and having a healthy snack to take home will help bridge the gap between meals because children need snacks to keep their bodies fueled with energy.
