This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Here at my school, I sponsor a book club for students during lunch. These students love reading and enjoy coming to the club. I would love to offer them snacks to help give them a boost to get them through the day. I also would love to have a stockpile of snacks available for students who come to me on occasion and ask me for a snack because they are hungry.
Having snacks for students who are hungry, whether they are in the book club or just visiting the library, helps to make the library a more inviting and comforting space.
