This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been learning about the great helpers we have in our community. We are so thankful for the role they play in making our communities safe for us to live and learn.

We will be making thank you bags of our favorite treats and drinks to give to our local community helpers, school officers, school nurse, and bus drivers.

Our school officers keep us safe from threats and are always helpful where ever and whenever we need them. Our nurses help take care of the sick and injured and make sure we are feeling our best. Our bus drivers make sure we get to our destinations safe and sound.
