This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students attend a Title 1 school and a lot of them come from farm working families or single families homes. A lot of the time they do not have access to complete meals in the mornings and during lunch they do not get full. I try and give any student who needs food a snack so they do not go hungry but I have provided snacks out of my own pockets but it does get expensive.
These students are grateful for all the snacks I give them and never complain. They will be grateful for this donation and not worry about being hungry throughout the day.
