Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a first-grade teacher of English Language Learners. My students come from different cultural and educational backgrounds. They all bring into the classroom their rich, cultural experiences.
In my bilingual class, I have to teach and ensure that all my students learn all subjects, including reading, writing, math, and science.
My students are at-risk and come from high poverty. My students are in need of additional resources in order to be able to learn and succeed.
My Project
In first grade, my students have lunch really early in the morning. Therefore, in the afternoon all of my students are extremely hungry. Our school provides the students with breakfast and lunch, but not a snack.
Unfortunately, many parents are not able to send a snack for their child.
Therefore, I ask for your kindness and generosity in making this donation possible in order to have snacks including the requested Nabisco mini cookie packs, Grandma's mini cookie packs and Keebler Fudge mini cookies for my students. Please help me to provide snacks for my students.
