it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing snacks to students before a major test can have a positive impact on their mental and physical well-being, helping them relax and perform better. One of the primary reasons that snacks are beneficial is that they help to stabilize blood sugar levels. When students are hungry or their blood sugar dips, they can experience irritability, fatigue, and difficulty focusing. A small snack can provide the necessary fuel to help maintain energy levels, allowing students to stay sharp and alert during the test.
Snacks also offer a moment of calm and comfort.
For many students, test-taking can be a stressful experience. Having a snack before the exam provides a break from the anxiety, offering students something familiar and comforting. This small act of self-care can help reduce feelings of tension and create a sense of relaxation. It gives students a chance to focus on something other than their nerves for a few moments, helping to clear their minds and prepare for the task ahead.
Additionally, snacks can serve as a reward or motivator, giving students something to look forward to after the test is completed. Knowing that they will have a snack available afterward can help relieve some of the pressure they may feel, allowing them to focus on doing their best rather than worrying about the outcome.
In conclusion, providing snacks before a major test supports students' physical needs, helps ease anxiety, and enhances focus, ultimately leading to a more positive testing experience and better academic performance.
