This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach first grade in Title I school. All my students qualify for free lunch.
They don't bring snacks to school, by the end of the day they are really hungry.
Having snacks in the classroom available for them will make them feel cared and loved. They strive every day to do well in school, I would like to make them feel that we cared about all her aspects in life, not only academics. These snacks will make them stay focus in class and encouraged to do their work every day.
