This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of snacks to give my students energy to help them focus on their academics and emotional well-being.
My students need to keep their energy up and many of them cannot afford to bring snacks to school on some days.
I want to provide snacks to them so they can stay energized and focused on their academics and emotional well-being. Some even save the snacks on Friday so they bring them home to their siblings or parents. There might not be enough food at home on the weekends.
Providing snacks can make the difference between students being low on energy and unfocused to being able to make it through with focus. It is a simple request that will make a huge impact on my students. They will be able keep their stamina up for the day and come out feeling accomplished and successful.
