This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me give my students healthy snacks so that they can focus on school.
Many of my students come to school on empty stomachs, which negatively impacts their ability to learn. They also do not like the cafeteria food that is given at school during lunch. They ask me for snacks during our class because they need food to help them focus on their assignments. Snacks will fuel their brains in order to remain alert and ready to learn!
My students are very grateful to all the donors that have donated snacks in the past.
