This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the first time my students will be taking the New York State exams. They are new and extremely nervous about these exams. We are currently located in a high-poverty district and most of my students come to school without eating breakfast or having any snacks. This year my students will be taking the ELA and Math state exams. These are all-day exams and giving them snacks during the exams will help them continue to stay focused.
