My Project

I start to hear children muttering "when is lunch?" or "I don't feel good." I know it is due to hunger and we stop for a snack. The problem is more than half the parents don't provide their child with a snack. In one week, I have gone through a huge tub of animal crackers. I hate to see anyone hungry but I simply can not afford to buy snacks for my class. This is the reason I am asking for a variety of snacks. Hunger should always be filled with fun and tasty snacks, such as pretzels or cookies. Imagine being able to give a hungry eight-year-old something to eat while they are working.

Once everyone has satisfied their hunger, we can continue to learn for another two hours.

That is a big chunk of time in our school day. Please help my students contain their hunger and continue to learn. A snack a day is the perfect solution. Thank you for your consideration.
