My Students
My class consists of approximately 50% girls and 50% boys. They are mostly from Hispanic and Black ethnic groups and lower-income communities. There is a zeal for learning despite the circumstances that they are faced with. Some have emotional, social, and/or academic circumstances that are limiting. The ESL and students with special academic needs receive services in order to assist them in the learning process.
These students need to be prepared to compete in an ever-changing world that is technology driven and requires individuals who can represent any organization with dignity.
They want to be successful and are challenged to be successful.
My Project
My hard working students sometimes need a quick break from their work to re-energize for a day filled with assignments. The snacks in this project will provide for my students a quick boost of energy to help them keep their focus on excellence.
Your contribution to this project will help me to reward my students for persevering despite the obvious challenges that we are facing.
This project also includes alcohol wipes. These wipes will be used to keep my students' work area clean as we engage in face-to-face learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
